Life, photos but not the universe

Bits and bobs, bridges, Barney and apparently I took a photo of this church last time we were here.

Wonder Under-Bridge

Barney with HAT (This was the one that sank in the Thames)

The church of which I took a photo last time we were on this bit of canal.  Well, it’s a nice church.

Though a bit blurry.  It was last time too.

  2. It was a nice church then–it’s a nice church now. But I’m extremely fond of churches as you well know. I’m not sure how I’d feel about the wonder under-bridge…looks scary to this woman who shudders when she goes under highway underpasses!

But oh, the reflections…and how cool the big hooky thingie on the lock whozit. At least I assume it’s a lock himself is with WITH now said sunken hat. (he’s gonna miss that hat…)

Have I mentioned how I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the photos.
NO THERE ARE NOT TOO MANY!!!!

    😀
    Just sayin’……

Just you wait Mel : ) (No, it’s ok, I won’t unleash the whole folderful on the blog – for one thing my total allowance of virtual space would only be enough for about a fiftieth of them)
For me, the wonder of underbridges is in the strange lights and reflections and silhouettes. And in the life that passes and flourishes there.

  3. Looks like a Tilley hat, the one that’s supposed to pass through an elephant three times before it’s deemed fit for wear. I don’t know if falling in the Thames gives it quite the same cachet?

According to the shop where it was bought it aready has (had) that cachet Christopher. Now, if only we could get it back, we could claim extra distinction by pretending it had been through a giant pike. (There’s surely at least one legendary giant pike lurking under a London bridge?)
